Cratejoy is looking for a product leader to join our awesome product management team. Specifically we want you to own the expansion of our B2B Merchant Platform. The Merchant platform forms the core of our Marketplace offering, and is the place that Merchants run all aspects of their business from. You'll be in charge of maintaining and expanding the offering in a way that hits our merchants needs, and helps us deliver on our long term vision. You will be a merchant advocate - working closely with our merchant base to figure out what their biggest pain points are and how to solve them.

You'll be using a combination of data aggregated by working with the customer success team, qualitative feedback provided by the merchants, and product roadmap strategy as determined working with the rest of the product team.

Product management is the most strategic and leveraged team at Cratejoy. The decisions they make, while working with the engineering team, have immediate impact to our thousands of merchants and millions of subscribers. Literally our merchants are in a Facebook group together discussing the changes you make, so the feedback loop to your users is incredibly tight. Tighter than we've ever seen at a b2b organization. You'll be in a position to dramatically impact a business and literally millions of other people's lives with the work you do.

Stuff you'll be doing

  • Research and mockup new user facing functionality (new apps for the app store, adding features to our shipping page, etc)
  • Work with the operations team to make our existing functionality easier to use (go through support tickets to see what the pain points are and figure out if we can fix them with UI)
  • Work closely with the design team to transform rough mocks into beautiful features
  • User test new features
  • Develop close relationships with the engineers and work together to build really great features

We cross-sell additional subscriptions to them. This is the piece that we wanted to get to. By creating the platform we were aggregating supply for the marketplace.     Principal Product Manager, Security Analytics

    We are looking for a Principal Product Manager who will lead our strategy and solutions definition for our Security Analytics applications and integrations for Sumo's cloud service for machine data analytics.

    You will report into the Senior Director of Product Management to help define the strategy and direction for our Security solutions and our core application security. You will work as part of a product management team that leads the definition of all Sumo products and will work integrally with our technical alliances group to define and develop partnerships and integrations with other security solutions vendors.

    The ideal candidate is a Product Management professional, with product leadership experience, and a track record of bringing innovative security product to market. This professional will be passionate about a security, cloud/SaaS business model, big data analytics technologies, and has impeccable product management skills.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate the definition of security strategy and roadmap that creates sustainable differentiation for the next generation of Sumo Logic Service.
    • Champion product capabilities that deliver a delightful user experience and high renewal rates.
    • Execute product strategy within a high-velocity agile/DevOps environment that delivers incremental value quickly and iterates based on user feedback.
    • Interfaces and proactively manage requirements from stakeholder groups inside and outside of Sumo Logic to prioritize capabilities and deliver a winning product across customer segments and business functions.
    • Work with a cross-functional team to define optimize a differentiated go-to-market motion.
    • Build relationships and work closely with engineering and architecture functions to ensure alignment.
    • Participate in sales and marketing engagements to maintain freshness of customer and market perspectives and evangelize Sumo Logic Service.
    • Work closely with Marketing to facilitate Product team's domain expertise flow and support positioning, messaging, and content.

    Required Qualifications, Skills, & Experience:

    • 7+ years Product Management experience
    • Minimum 5 years of leading a security product or portfolio of products
    • Recent experience with cloud security and SaaS services
    • Experience in identity, privacy, security applications is a plus
    • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to build and defend business cases
    • Experience with Agile software development
    • BA/BS in Computer Science. MBA Preferred
