Brief description of the job:

We are looking for a Director of Product Management, Digital & Interactive to define and drive the interactive experience spanning the entire customer journey from out-of-box and throughout our customer lifecycle. About the Role

As a Product Manager within Xero, you'll work with a talented development team to provide them with data analytics and information needed to make the best design, product or technical decision. You will help gather competitive analysis, product usage data, and user behavior in the current application. Your work will greatly influence the design and functionality of the product being built. You'll use your great research, data analysis and decision-making skills to juggle the wide range of enhancements and feature requests that will come your way.

You will also work closely with a Senior Product Manager to document detailed requirements and help guide the development team to building the best product possible. As a Product Manager, you will help with execution of scrum practice in bi-weekly sprints and own the prioritization of the backlog for one of the development teams. You'll work with a team who will look to you for guidance and support every day to build the best products that our customers will love to use. You'll also work closely with other key teams from the wider business, including support, marketing, training and sales. If you want to help build the next generation product, this is your calling.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years' experience in software development, preferably involved in the building of SaaS software or in a comparable product role
  • Experience with agile principles and processes
  • Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated and directed, with a keen interest in current and emerging technologies
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent working experience
