Alexa Smart Home is looking for a smart, articulate and detail-oriented Product Manager to define and execute programs that support operational efficiencies and customer (developer and consumer) experience improvements across the 'Works with Amazon Alexa' program. This Product Manager will be responsible for defining strategy and leading large programs to improve efficiency and sustainability, enhance customer experience, and drive significant improvements in the certification process of 'Works with Amazon Alexa'. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop strategy, set the roadmap, and then drive execution through cross functional teams both in our certification operations, Retail and Alexa product teams. As a Product Manager, you will have ownership and responsibility through the full product cycle, from product strategy, prioritization, and development to adoption and iteration with product management, analytics, operations, and retail teams across Amazon. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of consumer-customer focused product management experience; preferably within a product team or similar environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working on Internet-scale web services for consumer-customers, designing and implementing infrastructure and/or application management products and services.
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Prior working experience with/in a Software Development Team.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across many functions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or Master's degree
  • Passion for creating innovative solutions for consumers in households
  • Experience building connected home, home automation, smart home, and/or other consumer IoT products or services.
  • Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions

As product manager, you'll be responsible for Chef's cloud products and integrations.     As product manager for cloud, you understand and represent the voice of the customer at Chef. You lead teams to define, build, and optimize Chef's products for the cloud.
