TED is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager with proven leadership in delivering best of breed applications for iOS, Android, and OTT platforms.

You will be responsible for defining and delivering TED apps that delight millions of users around the world, across a number of platforms.   • Measuring user satisfaction through various feedback channels.
  • Be a passionate voice for the TED user within the mobile team and the TED organization.
  • Interface with other TED teams to understand priorities and drive towards a consistent vision of strategic goals.
  • Stay up to date with best-in-class apps within media, audio, and video, and bring innovative ideas to the table from around the mobile industry.
  • Define KPIs for app success, and obsessively look at numbers and report on progress.
  • Foster strong partner relationships within the mobile industry - Apple, Google, etc. Attend conferences and events to stay current and bring expertise to the team.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of product management with a focus on native mobile applications. You've delivered beautiful, functional apps on a number of platforms.
  • Deep understanding of what it takes to drive and measure user engagement.
  • Experience in owning projects through to completion, from requirements gathering through launch and measurement.
  • Experience writing lean but clear functional specs to get a mobile app built.
  • You're the kind of person who watches sessions from WWDC and Google I/O and has both an Amazon Echo and a Google Assistant.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • A deep understanding of ad-tech (e.g., cross-device graphs, audience segmentation, real-time buying, tracking pixels, DSPs, DMPs, SSPs, and other types of market participants). Experience with Google DCM is a plus
  • Experience in advertising effectiveness measurement: online attribution, offline attribution, campaign effectiveness, etc. is preferred. Experience with ML in these areas is a plus
  • Bonus: A good business understanding of the online advertising industry: agencies, publishers, tech-providers, their interests and the flow of money between them
  • Strong technical proficiency: you should be able to have discussions with engineers about technical concepts, if not implementation. Proficiency in SQL is a plus
  • Organizational skills: you enjoy managing multiple work streams in parallel to achieve targeted release dates
  • Growth mindset: you have a passion for learning and mastering new subject material
  • Communication skills: you are an excellent communicator with a preference for oversharing updates. You understand how to drive alignment between different stakeholders with different motivations

About the Job

The Senior Product Manager, CRM role at Jet combines technical expertise with business acumen to drive product vision and build out of Jet's CRM systems and tools that will enable our Marketing teams to run efficient, relevant and robust marketing programs.
