We're looking to grow our Digital Product team with a new Product Manager to own Core Shopping Experiences.

From homepage to checkout, you will own the scope to define the ideal customer journeys and optimizations to maximize user delight balanced with optimizing for business goals.

You'll report in to the Director of Digital Product and work with stakeholders across the company to define and prioritize roadmaps and launch features to take our shopping experience to Webby-award winning levels. What new features should we launch? How do we prioritize what to test? What metrics should we optimize for, and how? We have a lot of questions, and we're looking for somebody with A) answers or B) better questions. (A/B test pun retroactively intended.)

DAY TO DAY

  • Define the roadmap for core shopping experiences, set measurable and aggressive goals, and develop long term vision.
  • Directly manage timelines and teams to rally around said roadmap.
  • Define and analyze key metrics to inform decision-making and measure success.
  • Launch, test, and optimize new features, and improve existing ones we should keep.
  • Partner with Marketing, Creative, Customer Experience, and other groups to tie your roadmap into the bigger picture of our organization.
  • Work with UX to conduct research, map user journeys, and identify pain points and areas for growth.
  • Get creative, experiment, and ask crazy questions.

YOU

  • Have 4-6 years or more as a Product Manager, ideally managing a small technical team.
  • Are insanely analytical, and endlessly curious.
  • Have experience with AB testing and analytics.

THE POSITION

Our next Product Manager will manage and work closely with the technology, sales and marketing groups to develop, scope, spec, build, and go-live with Smart Home software and hardware products that drive deep consumer adoption. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have product build experience in the Smart Home space and devices related to it
  • Strong technology background with experience integrating third party product APIs and working closely with consumer hardware.
  • Understand how to build a mission driven product thus translating brand promises into user experience.
  • You have built product: creative, UI/UX design, product specs (including functional /technology specs, market requirement docs), production pipelines, and content management workflows.

  • Drive priority of developer backlog. Work with Program Managers and Scrum Masters to ensure work is sequenced and delivered within the defined schedule. Test all releases to confirm accurate execution.
  • Partner with the Landing Page Product Manager and Marketing to ensure we have persuasive and clear messaging through the sign-up flow. Work with UX and Technology to provide a holistically delightful and focused acquisition funnel.
  • Provide requirements and contribute to the success of better self-service tools to build configurable and targeted experiences.
  • Contribute to defining the long-term vision of the acquisition funnel and building the team's multi-year roadmaps.
  • Build reports and extract insights from data, working with analysts and Finance to inform product decisions. Suggest improvements to the customers' experience and increase conversion rates. Work with the A/B testing team to prioritize and execute key experiments for impact.
