At ParkWhiz, we're looking to become fully integrated into the daily life of drivers across the globe. Whether it's enhancing our current mobile app experience or building an in-dash experience for the future, we're there.

We're looking for someone to lead the growth and development of our suite of products across web, iOS, Android platforms as well as partner integrations. You will work directly with UX designers, researchers, interaction designers, product managers, and engineers in a fun, collaborative, agile environment.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • You're innovative, flexible, and have a can-do attitude.
  • You've delivered amazing consumer-facing products.
  • You can think in terms of the big picture while delivering on the details.
  • You have experience at working through Agile software development processes,talking through screenshots and user stories.
  • You do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful, whether that means hunting down that elusive metric or rallying the troops to iterate again because you know you can do better.
  • You are technical enough to ask engineers good questions about architecture and product decisions alike. Coding experience is a strong bonus.
  • You communicate with empathy and exceptional precision.
  • You know how to influence decision making at all levels within an organization, and in a variety of contexts.
  • 5+ years in a product development role.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Ownership of projects, from concept to rollout.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to create the stories that drive seamless integration with our enterprise partners.
  • Perform quality testing of the product prior to new product releases.
  • Troubleshoot product issues and improve the product over time.
  • Creation & management of user stories and acceptance that clearly communicate detailed functionality and architecture.
  • Assist with the creation of wireframes that clearly convey product features and functionality to design team.
  • Communicate product requirements to developers and assist with the management of the development process.
  • Evaluate performance and results of your product changes, run A/B tests, iterate and then iterate some more.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on any required product rollout training and marketing materials.

Lead Product Manager - Head of Consumer Web

Groupon is looking for a data-driven product leader to drive product strategy on mobile web and web. You will launch bold new A/B tests on mobile web and web that drive revenue lift, increase purchase frequency, increase app downloads, and create a seamless tie-in with our brand marketing campaigns.

This position is based in our Chicago headquarters, but involves some travel to other offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft product strategy and vision for Groupon.com
  • Create a rolling 4-quarter product roadmap
  • Socialize the product roadmap with executives and other stakeholders
  • Manage a team of product managers
  • Drive revenue lift via successful A/B tests
  • Increase purchase frequency through intent
  • Increase app downloads from the mobile web platform
  • Launch redesigns on mobile web and web to tie in with marketing campaigns
  • Safeguard and enhance the customer experience
  • Triage and fix bugs in a timely manner
  • Create functional specifications and manage the build of the product
  • Work with merchandising, engineering, and product orgs to execute your roadmap at lightning speed

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years external industry relevant experience with proven track record coupled with at least 3 years of people management experience
  • Deep analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and a track record of applying these to inform effective and successful business decisions driving a customer-centered product strategy
  • Strong analytical skills, and familiarity with statistics and how to use basic statistics concepts to measure performance of an A/B test
  • Ability to think quickly and creatively about problems and develop efficient solutions
  • Obsession with understanding and meeting the needs of the customer
  • Passion for local ecommerce and web product development
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balancing multiple, rapidly-moving projects
  • A rigorous course of undergraduate study in computer science, engineering, business, economics, or mathematics
  • Familiarity with SQL, HTML, CSS, and command line
  • Programming experience
