Piktochart's infographic maker tool is only the beginning of a beautiful product that empowers people to tell beautiful stories visually. We need awesome product managers that can take up the initiatives needed to keep Piktochart moving forward in the space of visual storytelling!

We need your help to:

  • Set OKRs (goals and deliverables) for your teams on a monthly, quarterly basis (you do not manage the OKR of your team members - they will be aligned with the team leaders)
  • Prioritize features that will be built together with the team
  • Highlight issues or bottlenecks when product development is not going as planned. Communicate with the Unity team on an ongoing basis
  • Answerable to progress updates and timeline estimation and updates the company about why the projects are noteworthy. Includes a monthly update during MAM.
  • Conduct independent research with users to validate UX requirements and research the market/competitors/positioning as needed
  • Coordinate help from shared resources (Dev Ops, Data team, marketing, design, UI dev, UX research) who do not belong in the same team
  • Manage project deliverables and timeline with outsourced teams

Your superpowers include:

  • 1-2 years of experience in product management within a web environment with a strong track record of successfully shipping out products.
  • Knowledge of product management and development cycles as well as Agile/Scrum methodology would be a nice to have.
  • Able to work well with others and rally people around a single mission, no matter how challenging the task.
  • A healthy obsession over customers and quality.
  • Experience in adapting to rapidly iterative product requirements.
  • Has the hunger and humility to learn, great communication skills, can think independently, good attention to details and passion for a product like Piktochart

As a Product Manager for Spotify's Growth Opportunities team focused on Japan, you will set clear goals and execute on a product roadmap and go-to-market strategy. Your performance as the product lead will be measured by the growth of Spotify's business in Japan and by your ability to partner closely with a cross-functional and internationally based team.

What you'll do:

  • Provide local insights – identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats relevant for Spotify's success in Japan
  • Explore, identify and execute on
  • Ensure we provider the best user experience and that the Spotify app is locally relevant to Japan
  • Partner with the central insights teams to validate key findings with data
  • Initiate and drive solutions with Product Managers in Stockholm and New York for identified market specific product requirements and opportunities.
  • Frequently travel to Stockholm and New York to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Design and oversee local execution of a continuous testing plan for important end-to-end flows
  • Track progress of market specific product improvements and measure impact
  • Understand Spotify's strategic and competitive position in Japan and work to improve it.

Who you are:

  • 4+ years in a Product Development role or other relevant experience
  • Experienced with product development at a global scale
  • Experience with media products, technologies and platforms is strongly desired
  • Experience working in startups or successful entrepreneurial adventures and working in a global environment highly desired
  • Extensive knowledge of online and mobile business models and consumer technology
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized, hands-on
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment
  • Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills in English required
