The Product Management team plays a critical role in realizing this vision, responsible for researching, defining and prioritizing new products and product features, managing development of all aspects of product development - from R&D initiatives to product launch to supporting customers after sales.

Through this summer internship, you will have the opportunity to define part of Juicero's product roadmap, with an emphasis on accessories and version 2 of the Juicero system. Using your business acumen, product development experience, and customer-centricity, you'll both represent the voice of the customer, always ensuring the user's perspective has a seat at the table, and contribute to the brain trust for the company, ensuring that resources are being utilized for the right initiatives and projects.

The team brings experience concepting and launching multi-billion dollar grossing products for Apple, Amazon Lab126, Google X, Microsoft and Cisco.

The Work:

  • Research and identify accessories for the 2nd generation Juicero system by (and not limited to)
  • Studying comparable products and business models
  • Performing user research to determine what accessories could enhance the Juicero experience for consumer and commercial users
  • Develop business case, product requirements, BOM, pricing and volume forecasts
  • Work with designers and engineers, both in-house and vendors, to develop prototypes
  • Get scrappy and lead user testing of prototype accessories

The Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or Industrial Design
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in any of the following industries or roles - consumer goods, consumer electronics, engineering consulting with roles in product design, development, or management!
  • Superb business acumen, ability to prioritize/ assess viability at both an overall concept and feature levels
  • Excellent communication skills and great team player
  • Ability to work with vendors and fabricators to take concepts and sketches to physical prototypes and write clear technical documentation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs/Sheets/Slides suite

Bonus points for

  • CAD/Solidworks proficiency
  • Prior business or product experience
  • Experience with 3D printing
  • MBA and/ or significant business experience

Product Management / Roadmap & Prioritization – Partner with internal stakeholders on problem solution mapping (PSM), and under the guidance of Senior team members, build and execute a framework for intake processes and business prioritization to inform our immediate & long term roadmap for ULTA digital channels, including ulta.com, mobile apps and digital in-store experiences.

Testing & Optimization - Support continued development of testing processes, optimization and site marketing opportunities. Additionally, this person will be a key stakeholder to coordinate execution plans with our A/B testing tool. User Experience - Be a key asset within the digital site experience team to support delivery of key initiatives during the internship period. Actively participate in user research and delivery of findings in various meetings across varying levels of the organization.

eCommerce – Learn the inner-workings and team structure of a digital commerce organization.


  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) and entering final year of school. Would not exclude recent graduates from 2017.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Previous work experience and involvement with on-campus organizations or activities.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced environment and interact with management level personnel.
  • Ability to work in our Bolingbrook office during core business hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
  • Ability to commit during the months of June – August 2017.

Product Management Intern:

As a Product Management Intern with Braintree, you will join an existing product team and work with the Lead PM to drive existing product features and and help develop new features based on a big-picture vision. In addition, towards the second half of the internship you will be able to work with your own product team consisting of your fellow software engineering interns to develop a product idea and execute that idea.

You must posses a unique blend of inquisitive curiosity and technical savvy, a keen eye for detail, the courage to dive into initiatives and the drive to make a product a reality.
