Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the premier provider of digital entertainment and social gaming experiences through PlayStation Network to consumers around the world on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and other connected devices.

The SIE Product Management Group is charged with delivering next-generation gaming and entertainment experiences to PlayStation customers around the world, on various connected devices from PlayStation® game consoles, to TV, web, tablets and smartphones. The Product Manager will primarily be responsible for driving requirements and priorities for the user experience on PlayStation Now, the new streaming-based game subscription service from PlayStation that is changing the way gamers discover and experience games. Based in Orange County, you will work as part of the Product Management team on the PlayStation Now service, in close collaboration with the Product Managers for both the Console Platform and Network Platform as well as the Engineering and Design teams on PlayStation Now across Sony to define and deliver world-class, cross-channel experiences that deliver significant business value and delight customers.


  • Work with stakeholders on the PlayStation Now leadership team to develop and document detailed requirements for new features and experiences for the service
  • Work closely with Design teams to support creation of user experience flows and wireframes for new PlayStation Now experiences that delight customers
  • Work closely with Engineering teams to help decompose broad feature requests into discrete and estimable user stories with clearly-detailed acceptance criteria that drive value to customers and the business
  • Serve as the primary voice of the customer and the business to the Design and Engineering teams, clarifying requirement details, providing insight into business rationale / benefits, and answering open questions as they surface via daily standups, retrospectives, demos and other venues for team communication
  • Formally accept and approve features as they are developed and delivered for release to market, and own the delivery of the documentation describing the release for internal and/or external consumption
  • Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses
  • Provide user and competitive input to research & development to address end user needs/concerns


  • BA/ BS Degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a product management, product owner or related role
  • Exceptional product management skills
  • Experience managing and shipping large-scale consumer-facing products
  • Strong project management skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and results oriented.

Additional requirements include:

  • Understanding of video game industry from the perspectives of the consumer, developer and publisher
  • Knowledge of content subscription services and user experiences in the movie, TV and music industries
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and project team members to further the business objectives of our products and services
  • Excellent written, verbal and social skills - You will be interacting with all types of people (user experience designers, engineers, managers, clients, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multiple project environment on an independent basis and with minimal supervision
  • Understand agile software development process
  • Must be able to provide examples of prior work (requirements documents, user stories, wireframes, user flows, etc)
