As Product Manager, you possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive and technical understanding to make that vision a reality. You enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and finding innovative solutions for the broader market. These solutions may include increasing the profitability of existing products or developing new products. You will build products from existing ideas, as well as help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company, working with engineers to define product requirements and drive projects to completion, as well as with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities to positioning
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
  • Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Oversee ongoing iterations to the product including feature enhancements, new sport integrations, manage deployment schedule, etc
  • Create ongoing dialogue with key stakeholders to determine product requirements, timelines, business implications and other key strategic areas of focus
  • Work with marketing / analytics team to evaluate customer feedback and identify competitive products
  • Providing updates to the internal team, speak with partners outside of US and maintain open lines of communication to effectively set expectations
  • Manage all tasks using a Krossover-supplied tool (i.e. JIRA) to document all relevant product information

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of software marketing/product management experience
  • Experience managing a technical product from inception to deployment, particularly with SDLC/Agile Practices and leading a cross functional team (UX, Design, Tech, Marketing, etc...)
  • Understanding of product development principles
  • Computer Science or Engineering degree/work experience a strong plus
  • Have a passion for/knowledge of sports as this role will involve a product built around sports video
  • Ability to collaborate and work across multiple departments to ensure the success of the product. This includes working closely with an external partner that is vital to the function of this product
  • Self-starter that is enthusiastic about sports, technology and building a first-class product
