- Very comfortable in a native design environment (Sketch, Photoshop, etc.) and have a good grasp on the tools that are representative of the industry.
- A proven track record of working with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to accomplish great things.
- 5 years+ of designer/interaction experience with a proven track record of success.
- Experience managing a team of 5+ people.
- Comfortable engaging with end-users, conducting user research, and intelligently integrating findings into your work as needed
- The ability to dive right into a big project and manage it from start to finish
- Ability to thrive in a variable and demanding startup environment
- You will manage the roadmap, refining feature ideas and maintaining existing features to drive business goals.
- You will skillfully define MVPs to release incrementally, shipping early and often.
- You will produce high-level product requirements, iterating with a core team of design and engineering experts as well as stakeholders in research, data, support, sales, and marketing.
- You will coordinate across teams to maintain product and strategy alignment, eliminating surprises and finding creative ways to make the "whole greater than the sum of its parts".
- You will mine for risks and opportunities via data analysis, customer research, market analysis, etc.
- You will provide status updates to various stakeholders and coordinate Go-To-Market Strategies for smooth, measured releases.
- You will invest in shaping team growth and morale, building both a product and — but a team.
- You will help your team and leadership coordinate team competencies to adjust role specializations, process definitions, and other factors which improve scope control, quality, and velocity.
