The CB Insights Product Manager is responsible for managing the process of building products to make our customers' lives easier. You will work side-by-side with both business stakeholders and our engineering team to build specifications and provide regular feedback on development.
Be the owner of your products. Seek answers to questions ranging from business requirements to technical implementation, and ensure communication is crystal clear among all stakeholders.
Work with internal stakeholders to translate customer and business needs into product requirements and roadmap.
Prioritize the roadmap and work with engineering to build and ship quality output.
Communicate details of what to build with designers and engineers through wireframes, product requirement documents, and sprint planning tickets.
Partner with engineering as well as business owners in any capacity necessary make the development phase a success.
Work with product marketing, sales and account management to bring relevant, useful products to market.
Monitor performance of your product and constantly improve using data, as well as customer feedback from sales, account management and customers as input.
Requirements and Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science or similarly analytical area of study
2+ years professional experience, either in engineering or product management capacity
A solid understanding of pain points and goals of a B2B client similar to CB Insight's customer profile
Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand nuance.
Technical enough to build credibility with engineers
Familiarity with Agile development processes, use of that Atlassian suite a plus
You are passionate about designing a great product experience for B2B customers, and have used wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Sketch, Photoshop, Invision
You are a data geek. You love data, experimentation; a plus if you are proficient sql querying
