We are passionately interested in how our users interface with our products and platform. We strive to bring the best designs and products to our users. The product management team works very closely with the engineering development team to steer and guide the process of developing new and improved products from conception to launch.

Job Description:

On the product management team, you will interface with other team members across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Support, Field Reps, and other parts of the organization. Reporting to the VP of Product, the payment product manager will also work closely with leaders in the finance and sales team to solve complex and challenging problems as we expand our payment processing, billing, and reporting platform. In addition, this person will assist, along with the leadership team, in defining the future roadmap of the Toast payment processing platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn the Toast platform and become a product expert
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis in the payments industry
  • Investigate and pursue strategic payment partnerships and expansion strategies
  • Problem solve in the areas of fraud prevention, processing standards and compliance, revenue and cost optimization, and vendor negotiations
  • Managing software release planning and feature priorities and backlogs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and fulfill product requests while meeting tight deadlines
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers and gather feedback from other team members

Qualifications:

  • 4 Years of product management experience in e-commerce, payment processing, consumer payments, or similar fields
  • High attention to detail, ability to drill down on data, and be relentless in pursuit of solving problems
  • Experience with development on mobile platforms and technologies
  • BS/BA or MS degree in Computer Science, Business, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Understanding of the hospitality space and the evolving market dynamics
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong analytical and technical abilities
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and organizational skills
  • Self motivated worker with entrepreneurial passion and perform well under pressure
