We are seeking a Product Manager to help lead the strategic direction and delivery roadmap for OpenTable’s restaurant platform. Our Platform team builds the foundational services to support new OpenTable Restaurant products globally so we are involved in almost all major initiatives. We are also charged with building elegant and scalable APIs for our B2B partners to integrate with our highly valued network of restaurants.This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and fun team, recognized for building market-leading products for restaurants around the globe.

This Product Manager will have a proven track record in building platforms and services that are known for their robust capabilities, scalability, flexibility, and ease of use. In this role the Product Manager will coordinate large-scale initiatives across OpenTable multiple teams, and help shape the next generation of OpenTable restaurant platform.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of our platform experiences and dig deep into data to identify areas of improvement
  • Build strong relationships across design and engineering teams and collaborate in the launch of products.
  • Research the latest tools and platforms that can address pain points for stakeholders
  • Drive the overall product vision, strategy, and requirement to fuel growth and product evolutions.
  • Help ensure that the platform can easily support products and features that are international
  • Work closely with engineers by openly and continuously communicating product vision, delivery objectives, and priorities.
  • Participate in team Scrum meetings, define and prioritize tasks, and groom the backlog.   

About You

  • 5+ years of Product Management work experience, SaaS or PaaS preferable
  • Deep understanding of APIs, SOA and Microservices
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements for engineers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for consumer or enterprise offerings.
  • Motivated self-starter, capable of taking initiative.
  • In possession of strong communication skills.
  • BS in science, engineering, or equivalent
  • Solid design sensibilities
  • Restaurant industry experience and/or a passion for food and dining a plus.
