We are looking for talented product managers to join our growing Americas team. In this role you will work closely with our customers, spending time at the customer site where applicable, R&D and product teams to lead the evolution of our product lines. You will drive and articulate the product functionality starting from customer business requirements and deliver product expertise in this constantly evolving domain. We want someone who is motivated by emerging standards and technologies and has a passion to drive innovation. A real desire to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment is essential.

What You'll Do

You will work closely with both R&D counterparts and Product Marketing Managers to capture opportunities and analyze business requirements from customers and prospects, help design and deliver market leading solutions. You will collaborate with other teams across organization to ensure coherent user experience across various products and ensure best practices.

The product manager represents the product stakeholders and customers. Translate customer needs and feedback into more detailed business requirements. In agile methodology, write user stories; assist in ranking and prioritizing the user stories, adding them to the product backlog. In addition:

  • Ensure product adheres to business requirements document.
  • Manage requirements and project change proposals during development cycle and perform marketing acceptance/validation for launch of UAT phase.
  • Serve in a variety of roles such as team/customer advisor and cross-domain coordinator.
  • Operate with broad latitude for non-reviewed actions and decisions.
  • Make decision having significant impact on business, budget, department, and/or customer.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders beeping the lines of communication open and successfully tracking customer requirements.
  • Provide product content as needed to support documentation, training, sales tools and collateral creation.
  • Prep and run status meetings with internal teams and the customer.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Business Analyst delivering IT solutions for internal or external stakeholders.
  • Essential knowledge in airline industry standards in the relevant areas.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Product Management or relevant Airline industry experience, i.e. specifically related to airline operations, airline order management (reservations, user interfaces, ticketing).
  • Cross-site collaboration and coordination, customer site presence.
  • Strong relationship building skills including the ability to relate constructively to all levels of the organization both on Commercial and Development side.
  • Excellent listening and written and oral communication skills.

  • Airline Operations (Departure Control, Load Planning, Disruption/Irregular Operations)
  • Order Management (Reservations; Ticketing)
  • Offer Management (Merchandising; Shopping)
