Are you interested in helping a company dominate the B2B payments market? We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and dedicated person to join Bill.com’s Product Management team. This person will be responsible for driving initiatives associated with improving customer engagement & retention across multiple channels. We are currently revamping our user experience and simplifying our product for broad adoption with small and medium sized businesses and this person will be a key contributor to that effort.

Mission

Are you interested in helping a company dominate the B2B payments market? We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and dedicated person to join Bill.com’s Product Management team. This person will be responsible for driving initiatives associated with improving customer engagement & retention across multiple channels. We are currently revamping our user experience and simplifying our product for broad adoption with small and medium sized businesses and this person will be a key contributor to that effort.

Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role

  • Designs and brings to market revenue generating, customer-driven software product experience
  • Customer Focused: Gathers insights from customers, data, research and industry trends and convert them into compelling product ideas
  • Problem Solver: Is data driven and analytical. can propose hypothesis & run rapid tests to validate them
  • Product Owner: Oversees and maintains a deep, detailed and ruthlessly prioritized product backlog (PBL) for a web scrum team, driving towards a well-defined vision and specific goals/metrics
  • Team Player: Builds strong relationships with partners, stakeholders and leaders within our group to ensure alignment and buy-in on the requirements and prioritization of product ideas

Competencies (Attributes needed to be successful in this role)

  • 1-3 years experience as a product manager in a significant business or product with responsibility for a set of product experiences
  • A positive and entrepreneurial mindset. Self-aware with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve. We’re looking for lifelong learners
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
  • Deeply curious and data-driven. Develops and defends strong points-of-view with data and analytics
  • Capable of decomposing a big vision into bite-size milestones
  • Experience with agile development and methodologies
  • Bias for action and experience with rapid testing
  • Effective influencer and communicator across teams and at all levels    
  • BA/BS required (Computer Science preferred), MBA preferred

Expected Outcomes in 3 months

  • Learn the Bill.com Product and know the product as well or better than our current customers
  • Own product backlog of a product area and execute the current roadmap
  • Help with ongoing roll out of revamped product to a subset of our customer base and iterate based on customer feedback

Expected Outcomes in 6-12 months

  • Execute roadmap to deliver features necessary for rolling out the revamped product to new and existing customers of all channels
  • Identify customer needs for the product area & help refine the 12 month roadmap
  • Define and deliver new features that unlock customer growth by solving key customer pain points and providing end user delight
  • Establish strong relationships with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Payment Operations, & other Partner teams
