Recipe box company, Gousto, is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing start-ups in the UK. On a mission to help families enjoy good food, we believe home cooking is important, so we’ve made it simple. We take the hassle out of planning, shopping and cooking, by delivering weekly meals with the ingredients and recipes ready to cook, so there’s no more ‘what’s for dinner’ panic.
As an ecommerce pure player, the Digital Product experience is critical to Gousto’s success. From optimising the way our customers choose recipes and manage their subscription through to improving our internal tools and capabilities, Gousto’s Digital Product is rich with huge opportunities to create new value for our customers and for the business. After establishing our business model we’re now looking to significantly scale the company in 2018, moving from an established start-up to a high growth business.
As Senior Product Manager you will join one of our agile development teams and take the lead over all aspects of product management. You will be directly responsible for improving the Digital Product to achieve Gousto’s strategic goals, by working with stakeholders around the business, listening to customers, and evaluating new business opportunities. You will work with a team of talented researchers, designers and engineers to turn these opportunities into real functioning products.
This role involves working in an agile environment where you will have the role of product owner, so you will be responsible for maintaining the product backlog, leading refinement and planning sessions, and defining priorities.
Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Product, this is a high profile position with the opportunity to make significant impact to the business. We’re looking for a candidate with the passion and drive to create world class products.
We use Indicative, Fabric and Periscope to run our data analysis, Hotjar for website heat maps and polls, Optimizely for multi variate testing, and even a bit of Sketch or Invision now and then to collaborate with our in house design team. We don’t really mind what tools you use so long as you’re comfortable with analytics and using data to backup your ideas.
We are hugely committed to equality of opportunity in all areas of Gousto. We employ over 20 nationalities and think it's deeply important to have both genders represented in all functions and levels. All individuals will be treated in a fair and equal manner and in accordance with the law regardless of age, disability, gender, pregnancy and maternity, marital status, race, religion or sexual orientation.
