PostBeyond is seeking a top-notch, self-directed Product Manager to join the Product Management function. This is a unique opportunity to join the product team as an early member and make a real impact in the work that you do. Working with our Head of Product, the successful candidate will be influencing both the future strategy of the product as well as the scope and vision of the next feature release.

The Routine – How you will do it

  • Decompose high-level product ideas and concepts into concrete user stories that are ready for design & development
  • Work with UX designers to conceptualize ideas into wireframes and Web/iOS/Android designs
  • Collaborate with designers and developers during the sprint cycle to ensure that the vision of the feature and scope is managed and executed successfully
  • Support the Customer Success team in building release assets and communications
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog; be the central point of contact for product feedback across all channels and teams
  • Build and execute on customer surveys, focus group research, and 1:1 interviews with users and senior level stakeholders
  • Identify new product and partnership opportunities; build alignment with leadership team towards new visions and ideas
  • Research competitors to gain insight into competing products and feature-sets
  • Leveraging BI & SQL tools, conduct product usage analysis to extract insights and form testable hypotheses; identify opportunities and pain-points in product adoption & growth

What You’ve Done to Date

  • 3+ years of experience in a product manager role
  • Solid understanding of agile best practices and user story writing; INVEST & SPIDR
  • Proven performance working in an agile environment with designers and developers through sprints
  • Proven success working with business teams to build and prioritize a backlog
  • Experience developing B2B technologies, and/or SaaS products; experience developing MarTech products or equivalent experience in MarTech stack a huge bonus
  • Strong analytical background in a product capacity; ability to deep dive into behavior and usage data and derive hypotheses
  • Extreme customer empathy; always thinking about how to improve things for customers and putting yourself in their shoes
  • Must be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing; able to articulate and explain feature vision and concepts to designers and developers as well as articulate the business value to non-technical teams
  • Must be a go-getter, always pushing ahead in anticipation and seeking out opportunities instead of looking for direction and reacting to the situation
  • Must be an excellent collaborator; always being open to other perspectives and knowing how to build relationships with other teams to improve their own performance
  • BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Product Design, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to haves

  • Solid understanding of UX/UI best practices for web, responsive, and mobile
  • Technical knowledge in software development and understanding of how SDLC works; understanding of technical feasibility and complexity
  • Make data-driven decisions and ask “what value does this change add to our users?”
  • Enjoy speaking to customers and facilitating in-depth conversations that uncover hidden insights
