Everlane is looking for a highly-driven product managers to join its fast-growing technology team. We are a team of engineers, product managers and designers tackling increasingly complex challenges for a company that is reimagining the apparel industry and setting a higher standard for transparency and sustainability. The ideal candidate is organized, experienced with data, may have built a vacation trip Gantt chart and has a tenacity feared by many but respected by all.

Product managers at Everlane work closely with stakeholders to define product requirements and see implementation through to completion, leading development efforts between engineering and design. The first month of this role is spent taking on smaller projects across existing product efforts. Be prepared to tackle any of the below at Everlane, as you develop into a specific line of business over time.

Apparel design and inventory infrastructure

- Automating our product design and manufacturing lifecycle (thousands of SKU's, scaling for the next 10 years).

- Large scale logistics integrations (warehouses, freight carriers, factories).

Online experience

- Lead our speedy Growth team to split test our way to an optimal user experience.

- Understand user behavior through quantitative and qualitative user research.

Bridging online and offline (physical retail) stores

- Build retail operations tools for point-of-sale, inventory management, etc. (we have 2 physical stores now and more to come!).

- Lead new features for Everlane; buy-online pick-up-in-store, consistent online to offline shopping cart experience, etc.

THE JOB

  • Manage the end-to-end product development process including prototyping, triaging and QA'ing in close collaboration with engineers and designers
  • Mine and analyze data that draws strategic insights to improve the product
  • Operate calmly to deliver complex features under high pressure and tight deadlines
  • Establish a cross-functional working cadence between engineers, product managers, designers and company stakeholders (data scientists, apparel and shoe designers, infrastructure engineers, brand marketers, Customer Experience associates, etc.)

THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have at least 2 years of professional experience in any industry
  • Querying your own data is a plus; experience working with data is a must
  • Have led and successfully shipped a project (tell us about it in your cover letter!)
  • Must be ready to hold yourself and team members accountable to timelines
  • You are comfortable with - and can thrive in - an environment that is constantly changing, frequently uncertain, and at times chaotic
  • You have technical experience with any of the following: data, analytics, design or engineering
  • You have the patience to learn from your team and peers before turning to yourself for all the answers
  • You're comfortable leading projects without having the final say

THE NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience with split tests, data modeling, or machine learning
  • Patience for long-term, massive-scale projects (e.g., timelines in quarters or years)
  • and/or
  • Ability to move very quickly (e.g., shipping 5x a week)
