The mission of this role is to conceive, launch, and lead a new generation of products for AdRoll that addresses the upper funnel needs of performance marketers (e.g. grow website traffic, grow engaged visitors etc). Today our Retargeting, Prospecting, and Email product suite primarily addresses one customer need: Take my website visitors and turn them into paying customers. Upper funnel marketing represents another key customer need: Find me new website visitors and introduce them to my brand. Upper funnel marketing represents an $80B+ industry in the United States. AdRoll's 40,000+ customer base has upper funnel marketing needs, and we've barely scratched the surface to address them.

Enter the Senior Product Manager for Upper Funnel Products. You'd be responsible for studying this ecosystem and defining new products where AdRoll should invest. These products may include (but are not limited to) 3P data targeting, audience insight reporting, content marketing, demographic targeting, brand lift measurement, and more. The opportunities are endless, but a rigorous PM will look closely for areas where AdRoll can add differentiated market value and preserve our technology moat. You'll test your hypotheses with minimally viable product launches, gauge market reaction, and iterate.

You'll be an entrepreneur at AdRoll, but empowered with the resources to succeed. You'll work with a small team of engineers and BI and partner with business leaders to influence sales and account management. You will also have open access to a wide customer base of small and medium sized businesses, with a focus on the commerce and B2C verticals.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the product owner, internal expert, and champion for AdRoll's Upper Funnel Products
  • Rollout new features by working with engineering, championing the customer and the business metrics we want to move
  • Build a vision for your product areas, chart your roadmap, and set measurable quarterly goals to track team execution
  • Gather input and consensus from business and engineering stakeholders across the company and at the executive level, while ensuring that your vision is aligned with that of the company at large
  • Collaborate with a cross functional team of engineers, data scientists, and go-to-market specialists to bring your product ideas and innovative new technology solutions to life
  • Regularly meet with customers to discover actionable product insights
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to launch products to hundreds of sales reps across a growing advertiser base of over 25,000 customers across the globe

Qualifications:

  • A BS in Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 3+ years experience in product management
  • Adherence and love for lean startup methodology: the build-measure-learn feedback loop
  • Passion for innovation to help define new products
  • Ability to challenge other people's thought process and approach
  • Prior ad-tech / marketing-tech experience (product management or related)
  • Enjoys working cross-functionally across teams and departments
  • Loves talking to customers
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • A roll up your sleeves attitude
  • A great sense of humor
