Product managers at Salsify are core to creating a platform that empowers brand manufacturers to meet consumer demands and grow sales. Salsify is uniquely able to empower brands to manage product experiences across the full breadth of the digital commerce ecosystem. You will ensure brand manufacturers reach consumers and grow sales, build their brands, and achieve operational excellence across the entire ecosystem in a cost-effective way by working with the retail partners and across customer success, business development, sales, engineering, user experience, and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the product experience for brands to deliver product experiences to any retailer or vendor
  • Create and ensure a repeatable, cost-effective process for supporting the full scale of the retail and ecommerce vendor landscape
  • Work cross-functionally to develop clear metrics and goals
  • Clearly define the cross-functional strategy and plan to achieve program metrics and goals
  • Clearly communicate program status to stakeholders and respond to feedback
  • Define and communicate prioritized business value and user and program goals
  • Collaborate closely with product development, Customer Success, Sales, Business Development, Enablement, and marketing to vet and deliver prioritized business value
  • Describe cross-functional needs through personas and use cases
  • Confidently and credibly communicate product vision and key benefits to internal teams, partners, prospects and customers
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and evangelist for the product
  • Partner with other product managers to define product strategy
  • Communicate key product benefits to internal teams, prospects and customers

Requirements

  • 2-3 years product management experience, or directly relevant experience
  • Technical background or experience as a product manager of APIs or SDK's
  • Incredible tenacity and passionAble to influence without authority
  • Able to work cross-functionality to bring new products and capabilities to market
  • Able to serve as a trusted advisor to partners, customers and internal teams
