Committee for Children is a nonprofit working globally to foster children's social-emotional development and prevent bullying, violence, and child abuse. Our research-based social-emotional learning programs are used in more than 25,000 schools in the US and 70 countries around the world. These programs help more than 13 million children each year stay safe, respect themselves and others, succeed in school today, and build a better world for tomorrow.

We're looking for an exceptional leader to join our executive leadership team as the VP, Product as we work together toward an audacious 10-year goal of impacting 100 million kids across the globe through social-emotional learning (SEL). Our vision is "safe children thriving in a peaceful world," and your contributions to this goal will be critical to our team's success.

The VP, Product will be responsible for transforming organizational strategies into product- and business-planning requirements and initiatives used by the enterprise to deliver compelling, effective, digitally inspired products and services into a rapidly changing and growing SEL marketplace. Working across the organization the VP, Product ensures that our products align with our mission and meet goals for desired impact and outcomes for the kids we reach, optimal usability and market relevance for our current US educator clients, cultural fit for future clients in other markets, and revenue generation/cost-effective development for the organization.

The right person for this role will recognize the unique opportunity to join Committee for Children at this critical juncture in our history. With solid financial footing, a meaningful mission, a talented team of partners, a new and expanding digital product line, and an industry experiencing an explosive period of growth, Committee for Children offers a genuinely dynamic and important opportunity to use your business, technical, and leadership skills to change the world.

The ideal candidate is genuinely motivated by our mission, an inspiring and visionary leader of product, a humble leader of people, and a selfless (and fun!) team member.
