CrossFit is scaling the HQ team to provide universal access to the truth about fitness and health. The Senior Product Manager will lead the effort to reimagine the CrossFit.com user experience, working with stakeholders across the company to deliver a website that reflects the international community and supports the company's goals. The opportunity is not only to build out a world-class experience on CrossFit.com, but to create a thriving community helping to improve individual health and fitness globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the end-to-end process for conceptualizing the user experience for the CrossFit community, acting as the glue between technical and non-technical teams
  • Partner with key stakeholders to define requirements, drive adoption, lead user acceptance testing, and address business and system issues
  • Work with engineering and design teams to create the best possible user experience in our mobile products
  • Create and maintain the product development backlog
  • Find optimization opportunities in conversion rates, user frequency and customer retention
  • Balance the needs of the community, departments and company goals to determine what to build or not build
  • Collaborate with and mentor other Product Managers to deliver compelling user experiences across the company's other offerings

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:

  • A strong communicator and good listener; able to present ideas coherently and exceptional at building consensus among a diverse group (sometimes remotely)
  • Experience with localization, content management systems, e-commerce, online learning platforms, event registrations process and/or software development
  • Data-centricity – a deep curiosity of metrics and the ability to identify the right metrics and track and report back on impact
  • Creativity – you will have lots of fresh ideas and be hungry to test them and see the results
  • Have a passion for producing digital experiences people love, fitness and health, as well as a deep understanding of the CrossFit community
  • User empathy and experience with running in-person user tests
  • A global mindset and some expert knowledge on how digital products need to vary across markets while understanding the need for us to remain a scalable business
  • Familiarity with project-management tools and practices a plus

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a product manager, ideally in digital media, training or health and fitness
  • Additional preferred qualification: Masters in Business Administration or other advanced degree
