Position Overview:

Stella & Dot is looking for an entrepreneurial Product Manager to join our team. Product Managers at Stella & Dot work on groundbreaking initiatives that have significant revenue impact for the business and life changing impact for our Independent Business Owners. Our products are designed to delight our customers and make our independent salesforce more productive. In this role, you will focus on building new tools and features for our innovative social selling platform.

You possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy and translate your skills to building and maintaining products that are scalable, reusable, and configurable to support our family of brands. You will work closely with engineering and cross-functional partners from an early stage to ensure the successful design, build, and launch of new commerce and sales force productivity features on our new platform.

You will be a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record in product management. You will be comfortable getting your hands dirty, building a roadmap, and driving your own features directly with Engineering. You will be passionate about leveraging technology to revolutionize entrepreneurial home based work opportunities.

This position can be based at either our Brisbane, CA or Seattle, WA offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan short-term and long-term product improvements to meet business goals, and measure success using product health metrics and user feedback
  • Take responsibility for decisions with regard to feature/timeline tradeoffs, and all other product related decisions
  • Apply a structured approach to product management including the use of analytics to justify decisions and optimize performance.
  • Write clear, concise product requirements and user stories
  • Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best implementation approach as well as a reasonable execution schedule
  • Lead agile product development process including backlog grooming, sprint planning and prioritization sessions and daily stand-ups
  • Serve as the voice of our independent salesforce, and be an advocate within the company regarding product decisions that will impact their experience
  • Work closely with Engineering, Field Development, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, Finance and User Experience teams.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of web-based Product Management experience, preferably in roles focused on ecommerce or internationalization
  • Motivated self-starter with the drive to use whatever intensity is required to solve critical issues
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to think strategically but execute with an attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelors Degree from a top tier school. MBA preferred but not required.
